Verified by Visa is a simple and safe way to help protect your Visa card and prevent unauthorised use online - at no additional cost. To use Verified by Visa, you simply verify your identity and create your password. Then, your card issuer will automatically ask for your password whenever your card is used at participating online stores.

Once you activate your Visa card in Verified by Visa you will see your own Personal Message (PM) every time you use the card at a participating online merchant. Your PM may consist of any combination of letters and numbers; we recommend that the length not exceed one line. Most important is that the PM is a phrase that has a unique and special meaning to you. From here forward every time you use this Visa card you will see your own PM when you shop at a participating merchant. This is how you will know that you are using your card on a merchant site that is protected with Verified by Visa.
When you activate your card through the Regional Australia Bank, Ltd web site you will be asked to create a User Name. If you activate your card during shopping a User Name will be created for you.
Your Username and Password must be at 8-16 characters and may contain alpha/numeric or special characters and is case sensitive. Your password should not be something that another person could figure out, like your name, or your birthday, and it is recommended that it include both letters and numbers. Record your password in a safe place - it will be used on all future purchases at participating online stores. When you make purchases, be sure to confirm your Personal Message in the Verified by Visa password window before you enter your password.
